In this beginner weaving workshop, Carmen will hand you all the supplies you need (yours to keep!) and then walk you through a series of fun techniques (nothing overwhelming) which you will use to create your own unique woven tiny work of art. This will be your new favourite pastime - trust me! Come have fun creating with others in this bright and fun studio space in the heart of New Edinburgh in Ottawa.

You don't have to do anything but sign up and show up! This is your invitation to a totally low-stress, fun and creative time in a great studio environment.

Level: beginner; no previous experience necessary.

Your registration fee includes:

• 2 hours of personalized instruction (plus support after the workshop);

• All supplies to complete your weaving, including a sweet mini loom from Guelph based company, Chip & Sparrow; a tapestry needle; a mix of thread and yarn; and,

• A boredom-busting good time and something to look forward to!
